Chris Hux, Minister

Chris Hux has served as minister at Athens Chapel Church of Christ since 2009. He is from Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, and received a Bachelor’s degree from Mid-Atlantic Christian University and Master’s degree in New Testament Studies from Johnson Christian University. Chris and his wife Jessica have two children, Mariah and Ben. 

Mike Eckert, Youth Minister

Mike has served as the Youth Minister at Athens Chapel Church of Christ since 2022. He is from Elizabeth City, North Carolina, and received a Bachelor’s degree in Youth and Family Ministry from Mid-Atlantic Christian University. Mike is married to Morgan Eckert.
